Technical Sales Associate

As a Technical Sales Associate at Cell Technology, Inc. you will be responsible for selling and promoting our products and services to the life science market, including academic researchers, industrial customers, and governmental entities.


  • Service and maintain current customer base, establish new accounts, and generate sales leads.
  • Manage and maintain key customer accounts.
  • Become proficient in explaining Cell Technology’s product features and benefits to a wide audience.
  • Help monitor competition and business landscape and make recommendations for continuous improvement of scientific product lines.
  • Manage and enhance Cell Technology’s distributor network of 40 national and international companies.
  • Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and reports.


  • Must have excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Candidates should have at least a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences or sales or marketing and/or a minimum of two years of sales/ marketing experience in life sciences or related healthcare or medical industries.

  • Possibility for travel (up to 25%).

Associate Research Scientist I

Cell Technology is a rapidly growing Biotech Reagent and Services company located in Fremont, CA. We are seeking a highly motivated and accomplished Associate Scientist to assist with manufacturing and research of new and existing products and services in the lab. This will be a full-time or part time hands-on position in the Lab for someone who is independent and can handle complete manufacturing runs with little or no supervision.


  • The primary focus of this position is to manufacture and QC buffers, reagents, and biological testing kits.
  • New product research and development — responsible for design and execution.
  • ADCC / CDC Assay services — provide customer interface, prepare proposals, experimentation, data analysis and reports.
  • Manufacturing of our existing products, including documentation and record keeping.
  • Providing technical support to clients as needed.
  • Contribute to scientific literature, patents and conferences.
  • Work with marketing to help identify new products.
  • Help with Cell culture in the lab.
  • The employee may also be required to stand or sit for long periods and lift boxes weighing up to 45 lbs.


  • BS or MS in Bio Chemistry, Molecular or Cell Biology, or similar field with a Minimum 2-3 years of Cell based Assay development expertise. A PhD is a huge plus.
  • Candidates must have good laboratory skills, be computer literate, and be able to transcribe data with accuracy.
  • Knowledge of ADCC / CDC / CMC Assays and cellular pathways
  • In depth experience with recombinant DNA technology (cloning/expression).
  • In depth Flow Cytometry Experience
  • Knowledge of bio-statistical tests of significance, graphical tools such as Graph Pad, MS Excel.
  • He/she must be a reliable team member, self-motivated, independent, and goal-oriented with experience in solving scientific issues.
  • The ability to multi-task and to quickly learn new skills and apply previous experience and knowledge to new situations is critical.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, meticulous record keeping, excellent judgment and problem solving skills, and the ability to work independently and under deadlines are essential.
